Career.zycto is seeking an exceptional Full-Time Modeling Agent to join our thriving team in Rusholme, Manchester. This is a pivotal role for someone dedicated to identifying, developing, and promoting exceptional modeling talent across various sectors, including editorial, commercial, and runway. As a Modeling Agent, you will be the cornerstone of our models’ careers, acting as their primary advocate, negotiator, and career strategist. You will be instrumental in scouting new faces, cultivating strong relationships with clients (photographers, designers, brands, casting directors), and securing lucrative bookings that align with our models’ potential and aspirations. The ideal candidate possesses an innate eye for talent, a strong understanding of industry trends, impeccable communication and negotiation skills, and a genuine commitment to fostering professional growth and well-being for our diverse roster of models. You will manage portfolios, coordinate schedules, handle contractual agreements, and provide ongoing guidance to ensure our models are always presented in the best light. Key Responsibilities
- Actively scout and recruit new modeling talent through various channels, including social media, events, and direct outreach.
- Develop and maintain strong, lasting relationships with existing and potential clients (e.g., photographers, designers, advertising agencies, casting directors).
- Negotiate model rates, usage fees, and contractual terms to ensure fair compensation and advantageous agreements for both models and the agency.
- Manage models' portfolios, ensuring they are current, diverse, and tailored to specific client briefs.
- Oversee models' schedules, coordinating castings, fittings, bookings, and travel arrangements efficiently.
- Provide professional guidance and career development advice to models, helping them build their personal brands and navigate the industry.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, client needs, and competitive landscapes to identify new business opportunities.
- Prepare comprehensive booking sheets, invoices, and other administrative documents related to model bookings.
- Attend industry events, fashion shows, and networking opportunities to represent the agency and scout talent.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise between models and clients professionally and promptly.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in talent management, sales, or client relations, preferably within the modeling or entertainment industry.
- Exceptional negotiation and persuasion skills with a track record of securing successful deals.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities, both written and verbal.
- Deep understanding of the fashion and modeling industry, including current trends, key players, and market dynamics.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- A keen eye for aesthetics and potential in individuals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
