Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust M&E frameworks, including logic models, indicators, and data collection plans for various projects.
  • Develop and refine field data collection tools (e.g., surveys, questionnaires, interview guides) using digital platforms (e.g., KoboToolbox, ODK).
  • Train and supervise field enumerators and project staff on data collection protocols, ethics, and quality assurance.
  • Lead data cleaning, validation, and management processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of field data.
  • Conduct rigorous quantitative and qualitative data analysis using statistical software (e.g., R, Stata, SPSS) and qualitative analysis tools (e.g., NVivo).
  • Prepare comprehensive M&E reports, performance dashboards, case studies, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to learning initiatives, facilitating workshops and disseminating findings to inform adaptive management and program improvement.
  • Conduct periodic field visits to monitor data collection activities and verify data quality.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing M&E systems and frameworks.
  • Strong proficiency in quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods.
  • Expertise in statistical software (e.g., R, Stata, SPSS) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Demonstrable experience with digital data collection platforms (e.g., KoboToolbox, ODK, SurveyCTO).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data findings clearly.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Social Sciences, Statistics, Development Studies, or Public Health.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Monitoring & Evaluation, Data Science, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working with international development organizations or consultancy firms.
  • Familiarity with GIS mapping and spatial analysis for field data visualization.
  • Knowledge of specific sector-based M&E standards (e.g., health, education, humanitarian aid).
  • Fluency in additional languages relevant to field operations.
