Career.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Analyst with a strong focus on field data to join our growing team in Smethwick, Birmingham. This pivotal role involves leading the collection, analysis, and reporting of data from various field-based projects, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of information used for project assessment and strategic planning. You will be instrumental in designing and implementing M&E frameworks, developing robust data collection tools, and conducting regular field visits to verify data quality and gather qualitative insights. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement M&E frameworks, plans, and indicators for various field-based projects.
- Develop and refine data collection tools and methodologies, ensuring their appropriateness and effectiveness for field use.
- Lead and oversee field data collection activities, including surveys, focus group discussions, and key informant interviews.
- Conduct regular field visits to project sites to monitor progress, verify data quality, and gather qualitative information.
- Perform rigorous data cleaning, analysis, and interpretation using statistical software and analytical techniques.
- Prepare comprehensive M&E reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide technical support and training to field teams on M&E best practices, data collection, and reporting.
- Contribute to the development of learning products and knowledge management initiatives based on M&E findings.
- Ensure compliance with organizational M&E standards, policies, and ethical guidelines.
- Participate in project planning and review meetings to integrate M&E insights into program adjustments.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Monitoring & Evaluation, with a significant focus on field data collection and analysis.
- Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R, Python, NVivo).
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing M&E frameworks, logic models, and performance indicators.
- Strong understanding of various data collection methodologies and tools for field environments (e.g., KoboToolbox, ODK).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly and concisely.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-cultural team environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in International Development, Social Sciences, Statistics, or a related field.
