Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive M&E plans, frameworks, and indicators for various projects.
- Develop and manage data collection tools (e.g., surveys, questionnaires, focus group discussion guides) for field use, ensuring reliability and validity.
- Oversee and conduct field data collection activities, ensuring adherence to protocols and data quality standards.
- Clean, validate, and analyze large datasets using statistical software (e.g., R, Python, SPSS, Stata, Excel).
- Prepare high-quality M&E reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide technical support and training to field staff on data collection methodologies and M&E best practices.
- Identify and investigate data discrepancies, anomalies, and outliers, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Contribute to the development of learning documents, case studies, and knowledge products.
- Support program teams in understanding and utilizing M&E data for adaptive management and decision-making.
- Stay abreast of best practices and innovations in monitoring, evaluation, and data analytics.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in designing and implementing M&E systems, particularly with field data components.
- Strong proficiency in quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods.
- Expertise in statistical software (e.g., R, Python, SPSS, Stata) and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with mobile data collection platforms (e.g., ODK, KoBoToolbox, SurveyCTO).
