Job Description
This role is critical for driving data-driven insights within our clients’ projects, particularly those with a significant field component. As a Monitoring & Evaluation Analyst focusing on Field Data, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and managing robust M&E systems that capture the true impact of interventions. Your primary responsibility will involve meticulously collecting, analysing, and interpreting field-level data to rigorously assess project performance, identify critical trends, and inform strategic decisions that shape future directions. This isn’t just about crunching numbers; it’s about translating complex data into actionable recommendations that contribute directly to impactful outcomes and sustainable change across various sectors.
You will work closely and collaboratively with project teams, local stakeholders, and beneficiaries, ensuring impeccable data quality and adherence to the highest ethical standards in information collection. This includes the development of user-friendly data collection tools, comprehensive training for field staff on best practices, and meticulous oversight of data entry and verification processes to guarantee accuracy. Beyond the technical aspects of data management, you will be expected to conduct incisive, in-depth analysis, craft compelling and insightful reports, and confidently present your findings in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner to diverse internal and external audiences. Your ability to spot nuanced discrepancies, identify underlying causes of trends, and proactively propose effective, innovative solutions will be highly valued and crucial to success.
We seek an individual with an unwavering passion for evidence-based decision-making and a strong, demonstrated commitment to accuracy, integrity, and transparency in all aspects of M&E. The ideal candidate will be adept at both rigorous quantitative and insightful qualitative data analysis, comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively in dynamic, often challenging field environments, and possess excellent communication skills that bridge technical and non-technical audiences. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our clients’ projects not only achieve their stated objectives but also demonstrably prove measurable impact, ultimately contributing to better programme design, efficient resource allocation, and sustained positive change. Join us to leverage data for good.
