Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated Monitoring & Evaluation Analyst – Field Data to join our dynamic team, supporting crucial projects within Bestwood, Nottingham, and extending into various field locations. As an M&E Analyst focused on Field Data, you will play a critical role in the entire project lifecycle, from designing comprehensive M&E frameworks to the rigorous collection, analysis, and reporting of data gathered directly from the field. Your work will directly inform decision-making, demonstrating the tangible outcomes and impact of our partners’ efforts. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust M&E frameworks, plans, and indicators for various projects.
- Develop and refine data collection tools and methodologies for both quantitative and qualitative data in field settings.
- Oversee and participate in primary data collection activities, ensuring data quality, consistency, and ethical standards.
- Manage and maintain project-specific M&E databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Conduct rigorous data analysis using appropriate statistical software (e.g., SPSS, Stata, R, Python, advanced Excel) to generate actionable insights.
- Prepare comprehensive M&E reports, dashboards, case studies, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide technical M&E guidance and capacity building to field staff and project teams.
- Monitor project progress against established targets and indicators, identifying deviations and recommending corrective actions.
- Contribute to project planning, proposal development, and donor reporting processes.
- Ensure compliance with all data protection regulations and organizational M&E policies.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (2+ years) in Monitoring & Evaluation, particularly with field data collection.
- Strong proficiency in M&E methodologies, tools, and frameworks (e.g., Results-Based Management).
- Expertise in quantitative and qualitative data analysis, including statistical software.
- Demonstrable experience with digital data collection platforms (e.g., KoboToolbox, ODK, SurveyMonkey).
- Excellent report writing, data visualization, and presentation skills.
- Solid understanding of research ethics and data protection principles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in dynamic and challenging environments.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Demography, International Development, Public Health, or a related field.
- Experience working within the international development, humanitarian, or public sector.
- Familiarity with GIS tools for mapping and spatial analysis.
- Certification in Monitoring & Evaluation.
- Experience in training and mentoring staff on M&E concepts and tools.
