Key Responsibilities
- Manage client applications post-advice, ensuring all necessary documentation is collected, verified, and accurately submitted to lenders.
- Liaise proactively with clients, lenders, solicitors, and other third parties to chase outstanding information, provide updates, and manage expectations.
- Prepare comprehensive mortgage application packs, ensuring all details comply with regulatory standards (FCA) and specific lender requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client queries throughout the application process, providing clear, accurate, and timely communication.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records within the CRM system, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Identify and resolve any potential issues or delays in the application process, escalating complex cases to senior advisors when necessary.
- Ensure strict adherence to FCA regulations, Data Protection (GDPR), and company compliance policies at all times.
- Assist in preparing offer letters, suitability reports, and other essential client correspondence.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and client service standards.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a Mortgage Administrator, Mortgage Paraplanner, or Mortgage Advisor with a strong focus on support and documentation.
- Excellent understanding of the mortgage application process, lending criteria, and regulatory requirements (FCA).
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- A client-first approach with a steadfast commitment to delivering outstanding service.
Preferred Qualifications
- CeMAP qualification (Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice) or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with a diverse range of lenders and mortgage products.

- Experience handling complex cases such as buy-to-let, self-employed applications, or adverse credit scenarios.
