Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to Mortgage Advisors and clients throughout the mortgage application process.
- Accurately gather, verify, and submit all necessary client documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Liaise proactively with clients, lenders, solicitors, and other third parties to progress applications efficiently.
- Maintain meticulous client records and update CRM systems with precise and timely information.
- Respond to client inquiries via phone and email, offering clear, concise, and professional guidance.
- Prepare and dispatch correspondence, reports, and other critical documents.
- Assist in conducting initial client fact-finds and affordability assessments.
- Monitor application progress, identify potential issues, and escalate as required.
- Ensure adherence to all data protection, compliance, and anti-money laundering regulations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of client support processes and documentation workflows.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in a mortgage administration, client support, or similar financial services role.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- A solid understanding of the mortgage application process and related documentation.
- Demonstrated commitment to client confidentiality and data security.
Preferred Qualifications
- CeMAP (Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice) qualification or working towards it.
