National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited (NCB) is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Mortgage Operations Clerk to join our vibrant team in August Town, Kingston. Key Responsibilities

  • Process and review mortgage application documents for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all required information is present and correctly entered.
  • Maintain and update client files, both physical and digital, with meticulous attention to detail to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Liaise with clients, loan officers, underwriters, and other departments to gather necessary information, clarify discrepancies, and provide status updates.
  • Prepare and compile various reports, statements, and correspondence related to mortgage operations.
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately into the bank's mortgage processing systems.
  • Assist with the preparation for mortgage closings, including verifying final figures and ensuring all documents are signed and recorded correctly.
  • Ensure all mortgage operations adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and phone calls related to mortgage inquiries and transactions.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a clerical or administrative role within a financial institution, preferably with exposure to mortgage operations.
  • Familiarity with banking software and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Basic understanding of mortgage products, processes, and relevant regulatory requirements in Jamaica.
