Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport various goods (e.g., food, packages) from partner locations to customers within specified timeframes.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company safety protocols while operating a motorcycle.
- Verify order accuracy, quantity, and quality before departing for delivery.
- Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor during all interactions.
- Accurately handle cash and process electronic payments upon delivery, as required.
- Utilize GPS navigation and local knowledge to plan and execute the most efficient delivery routes.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding delivery status or any unforeseen issues.
- Maintain the cleanliness and basic operational checks of the assigned motorcycle, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
- Load and unload delivery items carefully, ensuring their integrity throughout the delivery process.
Required Skills
- Valid Ontario G or M Class Motorcycle License.
- Clean driving record (abstract required upon request).
- Proven ability to operate a motorcycle safely and confidently in various weather conditions.
- Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with using GPS applications (e.g., Google Maps, Waze).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for positive customer interactions.
- Ability to lift and carry delivery bags or packages up to 25 lbs.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Proficiency in basic smartphone operation for delivery apps and communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in delivery, courier services, or a similar customer-facing role.
- Extensive familiarity with the Kingston area, including Cataraqui North and surrounding neighborhoods.
