Domino’s Pizza Jamaica in May Pen is looking for dedicated and energetic Full-Time Motorcycle Delivery Riders to join our dynamic team. As a crucial link between our kitchen and our customers’ doors, you will be responsible for ensuring timely, safe, and courteous delivery of our delicious pizzas and other menu items. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver pizza and other menu items to customers' homes and businesses in May Pen and surrounding areas.
- Ensure all deliveries are made promptly, adhering to designated timeframes and optimal routes.
- Handle cash and credit card payments accurately at the point of delivery and reconcile daily sales.
- Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a friendly, polite, and professional demeanor at all times, even under pressure.
- Verify order accuracy before leaving the store and upon delivery to the customer, addressing any discrepancies promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety guidelines for motorcycle operation, prioritizing personal and public safety.
- Assist with in-store duties when not on deliveries, including cleaning, food preparation, and order taking, as required, contributing to overall store efficiency.
- Maintain the cleanliness and good operating condition of the delivery motorcycle and associated equipment, reporting any maintenance issues.
- Communicate effectively with store management and dispatch regarding delivery status, customer feedback, and any issues encountered during shifts.
- Represent Domino's Pizza Jamaica positively in the community, upholding our brand image and values.
Required Skills
- Valid General Driver's Licence, specifically endorsed for motorcycles (Class A).
- Proven safe riding record with no major traffic violations or accidents.
- Excellent knowledge of May Pen and surrounding Clarendon Parish areas for efficient navigation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction.
- Ability to handle cash and electronic transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and commitment to deadlines.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as per business needs.
- Physical stamina to perform delivery duties in various weather conditions and for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a delivery rider or courier in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent secondary education.
- Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation applications.
- Prior customer service experience in any industry.
