Your primary responsibilities will involve careful packing of household items, commercial goods, and delicate valuables using appropriate packing materials and techniques. This includes meticulously wrapping furniture, carefully boxing items of all shapes and sizes, and labeling containers accurately to facilitate organized unpacking. Key Responsibilities
- Carefully pack household and commercial goods using proper packing techniques and materials (boxes, bubble wrap, packing paper, etc.).
- Label boxes and items clearly and accurately to ensure efficient unpacking at the destination.
- Assist with the safe loading and unloading of furniture, boxes, and other items onto and off moving trucks.
- Safeguard belongings by wrapping and protecting furniture, fragile items, and delicate surfaces.
- Operate moving equipment safely, such as dollies, hand trucks, and furniture pads.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment both on-site and within the moving vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to prevent accidents and damage.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) safely and repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for packing and labeling.
