Key Responsibilities
- Assist in carefully packing, wrapping, and protecting furniture and other items for transport.
- Safely load and unload items onto and off moving trucks, utilizing proper lifting techniques and moving equipment.
- Secure items within the truck to prevent damage during transit.
- Disassemble and reassemble furniture as required.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, addressing any concerns or questions respectfully.
- Collaborate efficiently with the moving team to complete jobs within estimated timeframes.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and truck interior.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 75 lbs) repeatedly and for extended periods.
- Strong physical stamina and endurance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
