Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the safe and efficient loading and unloading of moving trucks.
- Carefully pack, wrap, and secure furniture and other household/office items to prevent damage during transit.
- Disassemble and reassemble furniture as required.
- Properly organize and arrange items within the truck to maximize space and ensure stability.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients throughout the moving process, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned to ensure a smooth and successful move, adapting to varying job requirements.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 75 lbs) repeatedly and for extended periods.
- Excellent physical stamina and strength, capable of performing demanding tasks throughout a shift.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, working effectively with diverse teams.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and commitment to client satisfaction.
- Basic understanding of customer service principles, with a polite and helpful attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously and work independently when necessary.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
