Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all stages of music production, from pre-production and tracking to mixing and mastering.
- Collaborate closely with artists to develop their artistic vision, arrangements, and overall sound.
- Operate and maintain studio recording equipment, including DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations), microphones, preamps, and outboard gear.
- Provide creative input and direction to vocalists and instrumentalists during recording sessions.
- Engineer, mix, and master audio tracks to achieve a polished, broadcast-ready sound that meets industry standards.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables efficiently, ensuring projects are completed on schedule.
- Troubleshoot technical issues with studio equipment and software to ensure smooth operation.
- Stay current with the latest music production technologies, trends, and audio engineering techniques.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a positive, creative studio environment.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in leading DAWs such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, Ableton Live, or FL Studio.
- Demonstrable experience in audio recording, mixing, and mastering techniques.
- Strong understanding of acoustics, signal flow, microphone placement, and gain staging.
- Excellent musicality, rhythm, and a keen ear for detail and sonic aesthetics.
