Career.zycto is seeking a highly organized and passionate Music Project Coordinator to join our Label Team in Tempe, Arizona. This pivotal role is perfect for an individual with a strong background in project management, coupled with an unwavering passion for the music industry and an understanding of label operations. As a Music Project Coordinator, you will be instrumental in the successful execution of various music releases, marketing campaigns, and artist development initiatives. You will work closely with artists, producers, marketing teams, distribution partners, and A&R to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment. You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, track progress, identify potential risks, and implement solutions to keep everything on schedule. Your daily tasks will involve everything from scheduling studio time and coordinating artwork to managing content delivery to digital streaming platforms and supporting promotional activities. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of music project lifecycles, from initial concept to final release and post-launch analysis.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for various music releases and campaigns.
- Act as the primary point of contact for artists, management, internal teams (A&R, Marketing, Legal), and external partners (producers, studios, distributors).
- Oversee the scheduling and booking of recording sessions, mixing, mastering, and other production activities.
- Coordinate the creation and delivery of all necessary assets, including audio files, artwork, metadata, video content, and press materials.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of content to digital streaming platforms and physical distribution channels.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks or issues, and proactively implement solutions to keep projects on track.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between all stakeholders, ensuring everyone is aligned with project goals and deadlines.
- Assist with budgeting, invoice processing, and financial tracking for assigned projects.
- Maintain organized project documentation and archives.
- Contribute to post-mortem analysis for projects, identifying areas for improvement in future workflows.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project coordination or management within the music, entertainment, or media industry.
- Demonstrated strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Solid understanding of music production workflows, digital distribution, and streaming platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
