Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the primary caregiver with daily childcare routines, including feeding, dressing, and hygiene.
  • Engage children in age-appropriate educational and recreational activities (e.g., reading, arts and crafts, outdoor play).
  • Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naps, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Help maintain a clean and organized environment for the children, including tidying play areas and children's rooms.
  • Prepare light meals and snacks for children, adhering to any dietary restrictions or preferences.
  • Support children with homework or educational tasks as required.
  • Accompany children to school, appointments, or extracurricular activities.
  • Communicate effectively with the primary caregiver regarding children's progress, needs, and any concerns.
  • Assist with light household duties related to childcare (e.g., children's laundry, organizing toys).

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (minimum 1 year) in a childcare setting (e.g., daycare, babysitting, assistant nanny).
  • Strong understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate activities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a genuine love for children.
  • Reliable, punctual, and highly responsible.
