Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, loving, and safe care for children.
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities (educational, creative, outdoor play).
- Manage daily routines including meals, naps, hygiene, and bedtime.
- Assist with homework and school projects as needed.
- Prepare healthy and nutritious meals and snacks for children.
- Maintain a clean and organized children's living and play areas.
- Ensure children's safety at all times, both at home and during outings.
- Communicate regularly and openly with parents regarding children's progress and daily activities.
- Administer medication if required and with proper parental consent and training.
- Transport children to and from school, appointments, or activities (if applicable, with family vehicle or public transport).
- Handle light household tasks related to childcare (e.g., children's laundry, tidying playrooms).
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Nanny or Childcare Provider.
- Excellent understanding of child development stages and age-appropriate activities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, creativity, and a positive demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Fluency in English (Kinyarwanda is a strong plus).
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Basic cooking skills for preparing children's meals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
- Experience caring for multiple children of varying ages.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
