Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and other data communications systems.
- Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability, including troubleshooting and resolving network outages and connectivity issues.
- Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS).
- Perform network security audits, implement security measures, and maintain network access controls to protect systems from unauthorized access.
- Manage and maintain network documentation, including network topology, configurations, and inventory.
- Collaborate with other IT staff to develop, implement, and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Provide technical support and guidance to users, resolving network-related issues efficiently and professionally.
- Evaluate and recommend new network technologies and solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role.
- Solid understanding of network operating systems (e.g., Cisco IOS, Juniper Junos).
- Extensive experience with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).
- Proficiency in network hardware configuration and troubleshooting (Cisco, HP, FortiGate preferred).
- Strong knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
