You will be expected to conduct comprehensive network assessments, identify critical performance bottlenecks, and propose innovative solutions that align with business objectives and industry best practices. This role demands a deep understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), switching technologies, firewall management, and advanced network security principles to safeguard our assets against evolving threats.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of complex network architectures (LAN, WAN, Wireless, Data Centre, Cloud).
- Develop and maintain network strategy, roadmaps, and architectural standards aligned with business goals.
- Ensure the security, availability, and performance of network infrastructure through robust design and best practices.
- Conduct network assessments, identify risks, and propose innovative solutions for continuous improvement.
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting and problem resolution for critical network issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams (security, operations, development) to integrate new services and ensure seamless connectivity.
- Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedural guides.
- Evaluate and recommend new network technologies, products, and services.
- Mentor and guide junior network engineers, sharing knowledge and fostering skill development.
- Manage vendor relationships and evaluate service level agreements (SLAs) for network services.
Required Skills
- Extensive experience (8+ years) in network architecture, design, and implementation.
- Expert-level knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS) and switching technologies.
- Deep understanding of network security principles, firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet), IDS/IPS, VPNs, and access control.
- Proficiency in cloud networking concepts and architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong experience with network monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise documentation.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCIE, JNCIE, CCNP Enterprise, CCDP).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with SD-WAN, SASE, or Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions.
