Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, termination, testing, and labeling of various types of network cables (copper, fiber optic) in accordance with industry standards.
- Help pull and route cables through conduits, trays, and other pathways, ensuring proper slack and bend radius.
- Support senior technicians with network equipment installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and assist in diagnosing and resolving cabling issues.
- Prepare work sites by setting up safety equipment, organizing tools, and securing necessary materials.
- Maintain accurate documentation of cable installations, including labeling schemes and test results.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Keep work areas clean and organized, and ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of network cabling principles and practices.
