Key Responsibilities
- Participate in a structured training program to learn fundamental networking concepts, protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP), and hardware.
- Assist senior engineers with basic network device configurations (routers, switches, firewalls) under supervision.
- Help maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, IP addresses, and configuration files.
- Monitor network performance and assist in identifying and troubleshooting minor network issues.
- Learn to utilize network management tools and command-line interfaces (CLI) effectively.
- Collaborate with team members on various projects, contributing to successful solution deployments.
- Stay updated on emerging networking technologies and best practices through continuous learning and self-study.
Required Skills
- Foundational understanding of computer networking principles.
- Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
