Key Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic for security events and anomalies using SIEM tools.
- Perform incident response activities, including analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network security devices such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Develop, implement, and enforce network security policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security into network designs and operations.
- Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
- Provide technical support and guidance on security-related issues to internal and external stakeholders.
Required Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in network security or a related field.
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Elastic Stack).
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and common network protocols.
- Experience with firewall management (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet).
