Key Responsibilities

- Develop compelling headlines and engaging intros to maximize reader interest and SEO performance.
- Ensure all content adheres to ethical journalistic standards, legal guidelines, and company style guides.
- Collaborate with writers, photographers, and multimedia specialists to enhance story presentation.
- Monitor news trends, current events, and competitor coverage to identify new story opportunities.
- Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to junior journalists and content creators.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a news editing role, preferably in a digital media environment.
- Exceptional command of the English language, including grammar, syntax, and journalistic style.
- Proven ability to fact-check, research, and verify information accurately under tight deadlines.
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices for news content.
