Job Description

Are you a skilled and compassionate driver with a passion for making a real difference in the world? Career.zycto is actively seeking a dedicated NGO Driver to join our dynamic team in Birmingham, England. This critical role involves much more than just driving; you will be the linchpin in our logistics and field operations, ensuring the safe and timely transport of essential goods, personnel, and volunteers to various project sites, community centres, and distribution points across the region and sometimes beyond.

As an NGO Driver, you will play a vital role in the success of our humanitarian and community-focused initiatives. Your daily tasks will include operating a range of vehicles, from vans to small trucks, to transport supplies such as food parcels, medical equipment, educational materials, and other vital resources. This position demands a high level of responsibility, reliability, and a keen eye for detail, as the integrity of our operations often relies on your efficiency and careful execution.

Beyond the wheel, you will be an ambassador for Career.zycto and the organizations we support. You’ll interact with beneficiaries, partners, and colleagues, requiring strong interpersonal skills and a respectful, empathetic approach. You’ll also be involved in basic vehicle maintenance checks, loading and unloading goods, and ensuring all documentation related to transport and cargo is correctly completed. This is a hands-on role where your efforts directly contribute to alleviating hardship and empowering communities. If you are looking for a role where your driving expertise translates into tangible positive impact, we encourage you to apply and become an integral part of our mission.
