Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred care and support to clients during the night, ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity.
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including washing, dressing, toileting, and continence management, as required.
- Support clients with mobility and transfers, using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Administer or prompt medication according to care plans and established protocols.
- Conduct regular welfare checks and observations throughout the night, promptly reporting any changes in condition or concerns.
- Respond to client calls and requests for assistance with sensitivity and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate and detailed care records, including daily logs, observations, and incident reports.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other care professionals.
- Ensure the client's environment remains safe, clean, and conducive to rest.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, and relevant healthcare regulations.
