Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centered care and support to residents throughout the night, adhering to individual care plans.
- Assist residents with personal care tasks, including washing, dressing, and mobility, as needed.
- Conduct regular welfare checks and observations of residents, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Administer or prompt residents with medication as per care plans and training, maintaining accurate records.
- Respond promptly and effectively to calls for assistance, emergencies, and unexpected situations.
- Maintain accurate and detailed care records, logging observations, incidents, and daily activities.
- Ensure the care environment remains clean, tidy, and safe for residents and staff.
- Offer companionship and emotional support, fostering a reassuring and calm atmosphere during night hours.
- Communicate effectively with day staff, colleagues, and external healthcare professionals regarding resident well-being.
