Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular and thorough patrols of premises, both internal and external, throughout the night shift.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems diligently to detect and report any suspicious activities.
- Control access points, verifying credentials for all individuals and vehicles entering and exiting the property.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations, following established protocols.
- Document all incidents, observations, and daily activities in detailed and accurate reports.
- Enforce company security policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed during critical events.
- Conduct routine checks of safety equipment, lighting, and perimeter fences.
- Provide assistance to employees or visitors during emergencies, directing them to safety.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity and ensure a sense of security.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a security role (minimum 6 months)
- Excellent observational and patrolling skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to write clear and concise incident reports
- Proficiency in monitoring CCTV and alarm systems
- Sound judgment and decision-making capabilities under pressure
- Physical fitness to perform duties including extensive walking and standing
