Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of designated areas, both internal and external, to ensure the security of the premises.
- Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV cameras, to identify and address any suspicious activities.
- Control access to the facility, verifying credentials of personnel and visitors during night hours.
- Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations.
- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and prevent violations.
- Prepare comprehensive and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities.
- Safeguard company property and assets from theft, vandalism, fire, and other potential threats.
- Collaborate with day shift security staff to ensure a seamless handover of duties and information.
- Provide assistance to staff and visitors in a courteous and professional manner, when required.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter potential security breaches and ensure a safe environment.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Security Officer or Guard, preferably in a night shift capacity.
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols.
- Ability to operate security systems and emergency equipment.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Sound judgment and decision-making capabilities in critical situations.
Preferred Qualifications
- SSCE or higher education.
- Valid Security Guard certification/license from a recognized institution.
