Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently unload delivery trucks and sort incoming merchandise.
- Stock shelves, fridges, and freezers accurately and neatly, following planograms.
- Rotate products to ensure proper inventory management and minimise waste.
- Monitor and replenish stock levels throughout the shift to prepare for morning trade.
- Maintain a clean and organised backroom and sales floor area.
- Operate manual handling equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks, roll cages).
- Assist with waste management and recycling procedures.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, particularly concerning manual handling and food safety.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve nightly goals.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with stock or equipment to the supervisor.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to work reliably during night shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good physical stamina, capable of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
