Career.zycto is seeking dedicated Night Shift Warehouse Workers to play a crucial role in our logistics and supply chain operations. This full-time position in Forest Lawn, Calgary, offers a consistent schedule and the opportunity to contribute significantly to our nightly operations. As a Night Shift Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the process. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against packing lists and purchase orders.
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications, ensuring products are handled with care.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently (training provided if necessary).
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling, weighing, and staging for transport.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counting to ensure accuracy of stock levels.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and achieve nightly targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Basic math and literacy skills for reading labels and completing paperwork.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience (6+ months) in a warehouse, logistics, or general labour role.
- Experience operating material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack) with valid certification.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
