As a Night Watch Assistant, you will be the guardian of our site during critical non-operational periods. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct regular, thorough patrols across our facilities, ensuring all entry points are secured, surveillance equipment is functioning, and no unauthorized personnel are present. You will be expected to meticulously document any irregularities, maintenance issues, or suspicious activities observed during your rounds, reporting them promptly according to established procedures. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular, thorough patrols of the premises during assigned shifts.
- Monitor surveillance equipment and alarm systems for any signs of intrusion or disturbance.
- Ensure all doors, windows, and gates are securely locked and report any breaches immediately.
- Respond calmly and effectively to alarms or emergency situations, following established protocols.
- Document all activities, incidents, and observations in detailed log reports.
- Report any suspicious persons, vehicles, or activities to appropriate personnel or authorities.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter potential unauthorized access or criminal activity.
- Check for fire hazards, water leaks, or other maintenance issues and report them.
- Assist with other security-related tasks as directed by management.
Required Skills
- Proven reliability and punctuality.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Portuguese; knowledge of local languages is a plus).
- Basic computer literacy for logging reports.
- Physical fitness to conduct regular patrols (walking, standing for extended periods).
