Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, accurately documenting all actions.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and medical information, reporting changes to the medical team.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care practices.
- Assist physicians with medical procedures and examinations.
- Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies, providing life support as needed.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with hospital policies and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Adhere to all infection control protocols and safety guidelines.

Required Skills
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid current registration and practicing license with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK).
- Minimum of 2 years of post-registration clinical experience.
- Proficiency in clinical assessment, patient monitoring, and medication administration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- High level of empathy, compassion, and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced certifications such as BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
