Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily personal care activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, while promoting independence.
- Support patients with mobility and transfers, using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Help patients with meal times, ensuring adequate nutrition and hydration.
- Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe environment for patients, adhering to infection control policies.
- Assist with the general comfort and emotional well-being of patients, offering companionship and reassurance.
- Document care provided accurately and timely in patient records.
- Respond to patient calls and requests promptly and respectfully.
- Work collaboratively with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, and relevant healthcare regulations.
