Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and feeding, whilst promoting independence.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, document observations accurately, and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff.
  • Support nurses in delivering patient care, including assisting with examinations, treatments, and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe environment for patients, adhering strictly to infection control protocols.
  • Communicate effectively and empathetically with patients, their families, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Assist with patient mobility and transfers, using appropriate equipment and techniques.
  • Adhere to all policies, procedures, and professional standards set by the NHS and relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities as required.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nursing Assistant or Healthcare Assistant.
  • Valid Nursing Assistant certification or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
