Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to assess patient functional abilities, limitations, and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to patient goals and optimize independence.
- Provide therapeutic interventions, including activity analysis, adaptive equipment training, environmental modifications, and therapeutic exercise.
- Educate patients and their families/caregivers on therapeutic techniques, home exercise programs, and adaptive strategies.
- Monitor patient progress, re-evaluate treatment plans as necessary, and document all aspects of patient care accurately and promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and social workers.
- Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and contribute to the overall program development and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain strict adherence to professional ethics, state licensure requirements, and all federal and state regulations.
- Manage a flexible schedule efficiently to ensure timely and effective patient care delivery.
Required Skills
- Current and unrestricted Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Wyoming.
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- A minimum of 2 years (24 months) of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, and implement effective occupational therapy interventions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload independently.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard office software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Specialization or certification in areas such as neurorehabilitation, hand therapy, low vision, or geriatric care.
- Experience working in diverse settings (e.g., outpatient, inpatient, home health, schools).
- Familiarity with various adaptive technologies and assistive devices.
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus, enhancing our ability to serve a broader community.
