As an Occupational Therapy Aide, you will be a crucial part of our rehabilitation process, assisting therapists with a variety of tasks that enable patients to regain independence and improve their quality of life. Your responsibilities will range from preparing therapy areas and equipment to guiding patients through therapeutic activities as directed by the Occupational Therapist. You will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized therapeutic environment, ensuring all materials are readily available for sessions. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Occupational Therapists in administering therapeutic treatments and procedures.
  • Prepare treatment areas, equipment, and supplies before and after therapy sessions.
  • Guide patients through prescribed exercises and activities under the direct supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
  • Observe and report patient responses, progress, and concerns to the Occupational Therapist.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the therapy gym and treatment rooms.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and ordering supplies.
  • Transport patients safely to and from therapy sessions as needed.
  • Educate patients and families on exercises and adaptive equipment as instructed by the Occupational Therapist.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned, stored, and maintained according to health and safety standards.
