This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a flexible schedule, allowing you to balance your professional commitments with your personal life while still making a profound impact on the lives of others. As an OTA, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Occupational Therapists to deliver high-quality, evidence-based interventions to individuals across various settings, including community, residential, and possibly clinic-based environments.

Your primary focus will be on assisting clients of all ages to achieve greater independence in their daily lives. This involves implementing treatment plans, facilitating therapeutic activities, and educating clients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment. You’ll work with individuals recovering from illness, injury, or living with developmental or age-related conditions, helping them to regain essential life skills, improve functional abilities, and enhance their overall well-being. This might involve tasks ranging from assisting with personal care routines, guiding therapeutic exercises, adapting environments, or supporting participation in leisure and vocational activities.

We understand the importance of a work-life balance, and this position is specifically designed to offer flexibility regarding working hours, allowing you to tailor your schedule to suit your needs while contributing meaningfully to our service. You will be an integral part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, regularly liaising with Occupational Therapists, other healthcare professionals, and family members to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to care. Excellent communication skills, empathy, and a proactive approach are essential. This role offers not just a job, but a chance to truly empower individuals, celebrate their progress, and be part of a forward-thinking organisation that values its staff and the positive impact they create within the community.
