Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and meticulous Office Cashier/Clerk to join our administrative team in Chiredzi, Masvingo Province. This full-time, on-site role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and accurate handling of daily financial transactions and administrative tasks within our office. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily cash transactions, including receiving, disbursing, and recording payments accurately.
  • Reconcile daily cash reports and ensure all transactions are balanced and discrepancies are investigated.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and databases in compliance with company policies.
  • Process invoices, receipts, and other financial documents efficiently.
  • Provide administrative support such as filing, data entry, photocopying, and managing office supplies.
  • Assist with bank deposits and withdrawals as required.
  • Handle petty cash and ensure proper documentation for all expenditures.
  • Communicate effectively with internal staff, suppliers, and customers regarding financial queries.
  • Prepare financial summaries and reports as requested by management.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of all financial information.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to financial operations and office administration.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Cashier or Clerk in an office environment.
  • Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness.

Preferred Qualifications
