Job Description

CMA CGM Mauritius is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Office Clerk to join our administrative team in Mer Rouge, Port Louis. In this vital role, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring smooth administrative processes, efficient document management, and seamless support across various departments. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and organise physical and electronic files, ensuring all documents are accurately categorised and easily retrievable.
- Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy, inputting information into company databases and systems.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and correspondence, distributing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Prepare, sort, and distribute invoices, reports, memos, and other administrative documents.
- Assist in the preparation of various reports, presentations, and statistical data as required by management.
- Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating needs, placing orders, and verifying receipt.
- Operate standard office equipment, including photocopiers, scanners, and multi-line phone systems.
- Provide general administrative support to various departments, including scheduling appointments and arranging meetings.
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and courteous manner, directing them to the appropriate contact.
- Ensure the general tidiness and professional appearance of the office common areas.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications
- Higher School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in an administrative or office clerk role.
- Familiarity with office management systems and procedures.
- Experience in the logistics or shipping industry is a plus.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
