Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general administrative and clerical duties including data entry, filing, scanning, and photocopying.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and correspondence efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate and organized physical and digital filing systems.
  • Monitor and order office supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effective purchasing.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars for various departments.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, taking accurate messages as needed, and providing basic information.
  • Provide support to other departments as required, assisting with special projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure the office environment remains tidy, professional, and conducive to productivity.
  • Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.

Required Skills

  • Proven organizational and time management skills with an ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Sesotho.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as an effective part of a collaborative team.
  • Basic arithmetic and precise record-keeping abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience (internship or entry-level) in an office or administrative support role.

  • Familiarity with banking operations or the financial services industry.
  • Experience with standard office equipment (printers, scanners, fax machines).
