Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a diligent and dependable Office Runner to join our bustling team in Ogudu, Lagos. This vital role is central to ensuring the smooth daily operations of our office, primarily focusing on the swift and secure delivery and collection of documents, packages, and other essential items across various locations within Lagos. You will act as the crucial link between our office and external partners, clients, and other internal departments, upholding our commitment to efficiency and professionalism.

Beyond courier duties, you will also provide essential administrative support, assisting with general office tasks that contribute to a productive and organized work environment. This includes, but is not limited to, managing office supplies, assisting with light maintenance, and running various errands as directed. We are looking for an individual with excellent time management skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and an intimate knowledge of Lagos routes. Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently collect and deliver documents, packages, and other items to designated locations within Lagos.
  • Ensure the safe and timely transportation of all materials, adhering to company procedures and traffic regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all deliveries and collections, including recipient signatures and time stamps.
  • Assist with general office errands, such as purchasing supplies, banking, and postal services.
  • Provide support for basic office maintenance tasks, ensuring the workplace remains tidy and functional.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues regarding delivery statuses, potential delays, or issues encountered.
  • Adhere strictly to confidentiality protocols when handling sensitive documents and information.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, representing the company positively.

Required Skills

  • Proven knowledge of Lagos road networks and traffic patterns.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent sense of responsibility and reliability.
  • Good physical stamina and ability to lift moderate weights.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Valid rider's permit (if using a motorcycle for deliveries) or driver's license (if applicable).

Preferred Qualifications

  • SSCE (Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination) or OND (Ordinary National Diploma).
  • Previous experience as an office runner, dispatch rider, or courier.
  • Familiarity with various digital mapping and navigation tools.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
