Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal in designated areas.
  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring proper replenishment of all supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper).
  • Maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, breakrooms, and office spaces, including wiping down surfaces and emptying waste receptacles.
  • Spot clean windows, glass partitions, and polished surfaces to ensure a consistently professional and streak-free appearance.
  • Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly, strictly adhering to all safety data sheet (SDS) guidelines and company policies.
  • Report any maintenance issues, damage, or potential safety hazards observed during shifts to the appropriate supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Assist with special cleaning projects, deep cleans, or event setup/takedown as required, ensuring flexibility and readiness to support operational needs.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in commercial or corporate cleaning, demonstrating proficiency in various cleaning techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and a steadfast commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, managing time effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Knowledge of safe handling, storage, and disposal of various cleaning agents and materials.
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift moderate weights (up to 25 lbs), and stand/walk for extended periods during shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Familiarity with operating various cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, carpet extractors, or pressure washers.
  • Previous experience working in a professional office or corporate building setting.
