You will be an essential part of our operations, ensuring timely deliveries and representing Career.zycto with professionalism and excellent service. This is a full-time, on-site position where you’ll be driving a well-maintained company vehicle, eliminating the need for personal vehicle use for company duties. Key Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods, materials, or personnel to various designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any issues or maintenance needs promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and vehicle maintenance schedules.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials as required, ensuring proper securing of cargo.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, team members, and clients, providing updates on delivery status.
- Ensure the cleanliness and general upkeep of the assigned company vehicle.
- Manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines and optimize routes.
Required Skills
- Valid state-issued Driver's License (Class D or equivalent).
- Impeccable driving record with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to lift and move packages or materials up to 50 lbs.
- Strong geographical knowledge of the Benton, AR area and surrounding regions.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Clear and effective communication abilities, both verbal and written.
- Commitment to safety protocols and adherence to all traffic laws.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience as a professional driver in a logistics or delivery role.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route optimization software.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting.
