Key Responsibilities
- Assist delivery drivers with loading and unloading merchandise safely and efficiently.
- Safely handle and transport various goods from the warehouse to designated customer locations.
- Verify order accuracy against delivery manifests, ensuring correct items are delivered.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, representing the company professionally.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse and delivery vehicles.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers regarding delivery status or issues.
- Support warehouse operations including sorting, packing, and staging products for shipment.
- Report any delivery issues, damages, or discrepancies promptly to the appropriate supervisor.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly and safely.
- Strong physical stamina and endurance for a physically demanding role.
