Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and filter replacements.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using specialized diagnostic equipment and tools.
- Execute repairs on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and HVAC.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs or preventative maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle status, repair recommendations, and estimated costs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and shop procedures.
- Keep accurate records of all services performed, parts used, and time spent on repairs.
- Stay current with automotive technology and repair techniques through ongoing training and professional development.
- Assist in training junior mechanics or apprentices as needed.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of professional automotive repair experience
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various vehicle systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools and equipment
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
