Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough diagnostic tests to identify mechanical and electrical faults in vehicles.
- Execute routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, and brake inspections.
- Conduct complex repairs on engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, braking, and HVAC systems.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and specialized tools to ensure accurate and efficient service.
- Accurately document all repairs, maintenance, and parts used, maintaining clear service records.
- Advise customers on necessary repairs and preventative maintenance, explaining technical details clearly.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies within the workshop environment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working bay.
- Continuously update knowledge of automotive technologies and repair techniques through training and self-study.
- Collaborate with service advisors and parts department to ensure timely completion of work.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience as an automotive mechanic or technician.
- Strong proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
- Expertise in using automotive diagnostic software and equipment.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electronics.
- Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina to perform duties.
- Valid UAE Driver's License.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical certification or diploma from a recognized automotive training institution.
- Experience with luxury or performance vehicle brands.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic.
- ASE certification or equivalent.
