Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet customers, engage in conversation, and provide expert assistance with product selections, styling advice, and sizing.
- Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of current fashion trends, product features, inventory, and all promotional offers to better serve customers.
- Accurately process sales transactions using Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, efficiently handling cash, credit, debit, and gift card payments.
- Ensure the sales floor is impeccably maintained, organized, and visually appealing, adhering strictly to brand merchandising standards and guidelines.
- Diligently replenish merchandise, conduct regular inventory checks, and assist with the receiving, unpacking, and tagging of new shipments.
- Proactively resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally and with empathy, escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
- Actively contribute to a positive, collaborative, and high-energy team environment, assisting colleagues as needed to achieve store goals.
- Support loss prevention efforts by being vigilant, adhering to company policies, and maintaining a secure environment.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a customer-facing retail environment, with a preference for fashion or apparel.
- Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
- Strong basic mathematical skills and comfort handling financial transactions with accuracy.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry up to 25 lbs, and perform duties requiring bending, reaching, and occasionally climbing a ladder.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as retail demands require.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
