Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and schedule a team of security officers to ensure optimal coverage and performance.
- Conduct regular patrols of the mall premises, including interior and exterior areas, to deter crime and identify potential security risks.
- Monitor surveillance systems (CCTV, alarms) and respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms.
- Investigate security breaches, incidents of theft, disturbances, and other violations, preparing detailed and accurate reports.
- Liaise with mall management, local law enforcement, and emergency services during critical incidents.
- Implement and enforce mall security policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Manage access control systems, ensuring only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.
- Provide excellent customer service and assistance to shoppers, tenants, and visitors while maintaining a professional security presence.
- Conduct drills and training exercises for emergency response, including fire, medical, and active threat scenarios.
- Maintain all security equipment in good working order and report any malfunctions.
- Perform employee evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and facilitate professional development for the security team.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a security role, preferably in a retail or commercial property setting.
