Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing exceptional service.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems, handling cash, credit, and other payment methods.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor, including regular dusting, sweeping, and tidying.
- Assist with merchandising displays, ensuring products are well-stocked, correctly priced, and attractively presented.
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with receiving new shipments, and organize stockroom areas.
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers, answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Handle customer returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
- Support loss prevention efforts by being vigilant and reporting suspicious activities.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
- Open and close the store as per established procedures, including balancing cash registers.
Required Skills
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented retail environment.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Excellent customer service orientation and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
